A Poem about the Impact of Opening the Third Eye and its sometimes Frightening Effects

Visions from the Eye

The mind's eye
Visions that bring us to cry
The path is hard
There’s a temptation to discard

The memory stream
Brings you to images unseen
It’s an invasion
Of our meditation

Perhaps the anger flows
Where is the calm, who knows?
The drive for perfection
Stimulates the imperfection

Fear my rise
The urge to open your eyes
Everything appears dark
Where’s Noah's ark ?

But this is the journey we are on
To find our immortal song
When everything is everywhere
Just be aware

Resist the urge to fight
To take flight
Perhaps you are frozen
Nothing feels golden

Please stay here
Hold your body so dear
We must learn to love
All of the above
